Draft notice: replace [LEGAL NAME] and the contact details below before publishing this policy.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how [LEGAL NAME], the operator of the Robinhood Chain Starter Stack website (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information when you visit the website or contact us.

Hosting providers process certain information under their own terms and privacy notices. This policy describes our website and does not replace the privacy notices of those providers.

2. Information we process

Depending on how you use the website, we may process:

  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, request timestamps, requested pages, referral information, and security or diagnostic logs generated when the website is accessed.
  • Payment information: order IDs, payment status, transaction hashes, token amounts, network, and public blockchain transfer addresses. Blockchain addresses in transfer records may belong to an exchange, rather than the buyer.
  • Communications: information you choose to include if you contact us for support or make a privacy request.

We do not create customer accounts, run an email newsletter, or directly collect card details, wallet private keys, seed phrases, government identification documents, or payment service login credentials through this website.

3. How we use information

  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
  • Prevent abuse and unauthorized access.
  • Verify payments and provide access to purchased downloads.
  • Respond to support, privacy, legal, or security requests.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Browser storage

Checkout saves your order ID and a random access key in your browser’s local storage. This lets you reopen checkout and download your purchase in the same browser. Clearing that storage removes this browser’s access to the order. The checkout does not use cookies.

We do not currently use advertising cookies, behavioral profiling cookies, or our own analytics cookies. If that changes, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before those technologies are enabled.

5. Payments

Payments use USDC on Base, Arbitrum One, Polygon, Optimism, or Solana, plus USDT on Solana or Tron (TRC-20). We verify submitted transaction hashes through blockchain RPC providers and store payment and transfer records in Cloudflare D1. Transaction data on public blockchains is public. We do not ask for your wallet private keys or connect to your exchange account.

6. Hosting and delivery

If Vercel serves the frontend through the existing hosting setup, it may process end-user IP addresses, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device information, request information, and runtime or security logs. Vercel handles that information under its own Privacy Notice.

Cloudflare runs the payment API and stores payment records and the protected product file. It also processes requests for security and rate limiting. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

7. When information may be disclosed

We may disclose information to service providers that operate the website, including hosting providers; when required by law or a valid legal process; to protect users, the website, or our legal rights; or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. Retention

Payment and transfer records are stored to provide download access, prevent reuse of transfers, and support payment recovery. A transaction reference must remain recorded to prevent that transfer from being credited again. Technical logs may be retained according to the hosting configuration and provider policies.

If you contact us, we may retain the communication for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain business records, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical safeguards designed to protect the website, including HTTPS in production. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction or deletion of, and a portable copy of personal information we process. You may also have the right to receive information about our processing, appeal a decision concerning a privacy request, and receive equal service without discrimination for exercising a privacy right.

Because we do not create customer accounts, we may need limited information about your interaction with the website to locate relevant records and verify a request. Hosting providers must be contacted directly for information they control under their own privacy notices.

11. Children

The website and product are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the website, contact us so the issue can be reviewed.

12. International processing

Hosting providers and their service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those locations may have different privacy laws. The providers describe their transfer safeguards and processing practices in their own privacy notices.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the website, providers, or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.

14. Contact

Privacy requests and questions may be sent to [CONTACT EMAIL].
